PBA team Phoenix Fuel Masters aren’t done with the help they want to give to the country’s frontliners amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Just a month ago, the squad decided to shed a portion of their salaries to help buy relief packs and personal protective equipment (PPEs) to the frontliners of different hospitals within the Metro.

Through the efforts of Calvin Abueva, Justin Chua, Dave Marcelo, RJ Jazul, JR Reyes, and team manager Paolo Bugia, the team was able to donate to frontliners in Pasig, Quezon City, San Juan, Pateros, Muntinlupa, and Makati.

Food relief boxes were received by Pateros, Pasig, Quezon City and San Juan while the Muntinlupa Bilibid Hospital and Ospital ng Makati received PPEs, masks, and sacks of rice.

Also, the employees of the Upper Deck Gym, where the Fuel Masters train, received much-needed help from the team.

Food packs were also handed out by the team in San Juan where they cooked and prepared it at Abueva’s restaurant, “Dampa ni The Beast.”
