Eight hours per day, five days a week.

That’s how the PH’s e-sports team “Sibol” prepared for success to give the country the first-ever Southeast Asian Games Mobile Legends tournament championship trophy.

With the popularity of e-sports taking the world by storm, the SEA Games committee decided to include it and make it an official sport.

Passing through the grinder after many elimination tournaments, the Sibol staff finally formed their magic-five that will represent the country in the SEA Games.

Kenneth “Kenji” Villa, their fighter, Jeniel “Haze” Bata-anon playing tank, Allan “Lusty” Castromayor, also tank, and Karl Gabriel “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno, playing a dual role of assassin and mage are joined by Carlito ‘Ribo’ Ribo and Angelo Kyle ‘Pheww’ Arcangel to complete the powerhouse squad that will banner PH.

With months of intensive training during their boot camp, the Sibol ML squad is ready and excited to rise to the top among the 11 joining teams from the different SEA countries.

The e-sports category under the SEA Games includes Mobile Legends, Arena of Valor, Dota 2, Starcraft 2, Hearthstone, and Tekken 7.
