Tagged as the dark horse of the 2019 UNIGAMES Men’s basketball, the University of Perpetual Help System-Jonelta fell to the powerhouse team of Enderun College, 70-36.

Considered to be the biggest team in the UNIGAMES with two centers averaging 6’4’’ in height, it took Enderun only three minutes in the opening canto to establish a double-digit lead against Perpetual off imposing and-one plays underneath.

Too big and too skilled, the Enderun big men gave Perpetual fits on the defensive. Perpetual even resorted to quadruple teaming Enderun’s big men, but to no avail.

It was a beating inside and out as Enderun’s shooters scorched from the three-point line, hitting near 50 percent of their attempts.

Perpetual had no signs of life as the second half started, Enderun on the other hand continued their play inside, pounding Perpetual into submission.

Perpetual tried to run their full-court pressure trademark defense but it was easily broken by the Enderun counter-set.

With the win, Enderun advanced to the finals.
