Passi City mayor orders arrest of three drunk men

Three men were arrested after they allegedly created alarm and scandal late evening of Nov. 1, 2019 at Passi City.

Unfortunately for the suspects, Mayor Stephen Palmares of Passi City is the complainant in the charges against them.

Police Staff Sergeant Roderick Larida, Passi City police investigator, identified the suspects as Kenneth Torrecampo, 19, of Barangay Liboo, Passi City; and half-brothers Arnulfo Nobleza, 27, and  Mildren Cruz, 20, both of Barangay Agdahon, Passi City.

Prior to their arrest, the three came from a drinking session and headed to the town plaza for a Halloween event.

They wanted to enter a horror booth but did not fall in line. Instead, they bumped off others who were ahead of the queue.

When Palmares saw this, he told the three suspects that drunks are not allowed inside the booth.

This did not sit well with the trio who told Palmares that they don’t recognize the mayor.

They also tried to jostle Palmares.

It was at that juncture that the mayor called for police assistance and had the three arrested.

Torrecampo and Nobleza were immediately arrested while Cruz was collared the following morning.

They are still detained as Palmares has yet to decide if he will pursue criminal charges against the three.
