P370K in ‘shabu’ seized in drug busts

BACOLOD City – Two buy-bust operations here and four others in Negros Occidental resulted in the recovery of an estimated P370,200 worth of illegal drugs from July 12 to 14, 2019.

The biggest operation over the weekend was conducted at Barangay Mandalagan here last Sunday that led to the seizure of five sachets of suspected shabu weighing 20 grams and valued at P250,000; and the P500 marked money.

The items were confiscated from Eduardo Dayon, 33, of Barangay 2 who is now detained at Police Station 3.

Last Saturday, Nove Horillo, 35, of Barangay 3 here, a newly-identified drug personality; and Bago City residents Jerry Emilia, 33, of Barangay Lag-asan, Rosito Sucero, 48, of Barangay Poblacion, and Rayman Javier, 46, of Barangay Poblacion were arrested at Barangay 3 here.

Police seized from them six sachets of suspected shabu worth P21,200, the P200 marked money, and drug paraphernalia.

Emilia and Sucero are high-value target drug surrenderers. All four suspects are detained at Police Station 7.

In Pontevedra town, Dayne Tuvilla, 25, and Dennis Estremadora, 28, both residents of Barangay Miranda were collared at the said village on July 13. Both suspects are newly-identified drug personalities.

Police recovered from Tuvilla four sachets of suspected shabu worth P12,000, and the P500 marked money while Estremadora allegedly yielded three sachets of suspected shabu.

Also arrested last Saturday at Barangay Calampisawan, Calatrava town was Englebert Flores, 22, of the said village for the confiscation of three sachets of suspected shabu worth P5,000, and the P500 marked money.

On July 12, John Stephen Aguirre, 43, of Barangay 3, Kabankalan City, high-value target was nabbed at the said village. Police seized from him three sachets of suspected shabu worth P72,000, and the P1,000 marked money.

In Talisay City, Jason Sadaya, 36; and  Reynaldo Lagrimas, 30, both residents of Barangay Zone 3 were arrested at the said village last Friday.

Recovered fron Sadaya were seven sachets of suspected shabu worth P10,000, the P500 marked money, two lighters, an improvised tooter, and P400 cash while police confiscated from Lagrimas a sachet of suspected shabu.
