BACOLOD City – Twelve persons were arrested separately for the recovery of P294,500 worth of suspected shabu here and in two areas in Negros Occidental from November 15 to 17.
Personnel of Police Station 2 arrested Jessrel Loraña, 20; and Benjie Dujale, 25 in a drug bust at Barangay 10 here Sunday.
Authorities recovered from him seven sachets of suspected shabu weighing eight grams worth P120,000, the P500 marked money, and improvised tooter.
Arrested at Barangay 27 here Sunday was Jepren Arce, 36, of the said village after he was allegedly caught throwing sachets of suspected shabu during Oplan Sita.
Police confiscated from him 11 sachets of suspected shabu weighing four grams worth P60,000. He is detained at Police Station 4.
Also arrested in a buy-bust at Barangay Felisa here yesterday were Renante Rojo, 38; and John Leo Cadosale, 28, both residents of the said barangay.
Police seized from them three sachets of suspected shabu worth P6,000, and the P200 marked money. Both suspects are detained at Police Station 10.
Last Saturday, Ruel Barillo, 42, of Barangay Singcang-Airport here was arrested at the said village after police recovered from him in a buy-bust 10 sachets of suspected shabu worth P24,000, the P300 marked money, and drug paraphernalia. He is detained at Police Station 1.
Personnel of Police Station 4 arrested at Barangay Montevista here last Saturday Reginald Alarcon, 24, of Barangay Estefania; and Rogelio Ong, 25, of Roxas City, Capiz after they tried to evade the checkpoint in the area.
Police confiscated from them two sachets of suspected shabu worth P22,500.
Last Friday, Gutzy Poncejan was arrested in a drug bust at Barangay 28 here after he allegedly yielded four sachets of suspected shabu worth P15,000, and the P300 marked money. He is detained at Police Station 5.
Also arrested at Barangay Estefania here that day was Jonah Sioting after police seized from him five sachets of suspected shabu worth P45,000, the P500 marked money, and an improvised tooter.
In Sagay City, Marcelo Monares, 33, of Barangay Poblacion 1 was arrested in a drug bust at the said village last Saturday, for the recovery of four sachets of suspected shabu worth P2,000, and the P500 marked money.
In La Castellana town, Christopher Bandoquillo, 28, of Barangay Robles was arrested on the same day in a buy-bust which led in the confiscation of two sachets of suspected shabu, the P300 marked money, and a lighter.
