BACOLOD City – Three persons were arrested while P260,440 worth of suspected shabu was seized in separate buy-bust operations here and in Negros Occidental in the past three days.

The biggest haul was in San Carlos City, with the confiscation of 14.8 grams of suspected shabu worth P100,640 from Junemark Lombrino, 34, of Barangay 6 last Tuesday.

Police Lieutenant Ruby Aurita, public information officer of San Carlos City Police Station, said that Lombrino has been placed under monitoring for a long time due to his alleged involvement in the illegal drug trade at his house.

Aurita said that he is a street-level individual. He is also on the drugs watchlist of the police station, according to Aurita.

Aurita said they have no idea yet about the source of the illegal drugs, since Lombrino has yet to speak if he has a link with a drug group.

Meanwhile, P91,800 worth of the said contraband was also recovered in the cities of Himamaylan and Silay last Monday. However, the subject of the drug bust in Himamaylan City managed to escape from the police operatives.

In Bacolod, a man was also busted with 10 grams of suspected shabu worth P68,000 in Barangay Villamonte last Tuesday. He is detained at Police Station 4.
