ROXAS CITY, Capiz — More or less P240,000 worth of suspected shabu were recovered by police from a high value target suspect during a drug buy-bust operation early Friday morning here.

The Station Drugs Enforcement Team of the Roxas City police station led by Police Lt. Ricardo Jomuad Jr. conducted the operation at Pueblo de Panay in Brgy. Lawaan here.
The team arrested Raymund Galicto, 46, of Sitio Nasagud Brgy Lanot here, and his companion John Michael Labesora, 18, of Barangay Tanque here.

Recovered from the suspects were 15 sachets of suspected shabu with estimated value at P240,000; a .45-caliber pistol, a .38-caliber revolver, cellular phones, a weighing scale, a black pouch, and two single motorcycles allegedly used in the illegal transaction.

Also recovered from the suspects was the P6,000 marked money.

Jomuad said it took months of monitoring and surveillance before the operation was conducted.

He said Galicto was a high value target suspect and the subject of the police operations.
