BACOLOD City – The Special Operation Unit (SOU)-6 of the Philippine National Police (PNP) Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG) seized P1,373,600 worth of suspected shabu from two persons in separate buy-bust operations here in the past two days.

The first operation was conducted against a tricycle driver at Grandville 2 Subdivision, Barangay Mansilingan last Monday.

Arrested was Ian Alindog, 37, of the said village, who allegedly yielded 52 grams of suspected shabu worth P353,600.

Police Captain Dax Santillan, head of Police Station 6, said that Alindog is a high-value individual based on the volume of illegal drugs recovered from him.

Also confiscated from him were the P3,500 marked money, aluminum foil, and three lighters.

Santillan said they received information about the alleged illegal activity of Alindog, prompting them to conduct the operation.

Alindog is detained at Police Station 6.

The following day, Mark Salmingo, 26, of Barangay 27, was apprehended in the said village following the confiscation of 150 grams of suspected shabu worth P1,020,000.

Police also seized from Salmingo the P500 marked money and P11,000 boodle money. He is detained at Police Station 4.
