Filipino rising superstar Stephen Loman received a career-boosting call-up in the upcoming ONE Fighting Championship special anniversary event: ONE X.

Leaving Brave CF MMA as the tournament’s bantamweight king, Loman and coach Mark Sangiao thought this is his best time to test the waters at ONE and challenge the best of the best fighters.

He immediately turned heads after his convincing debut win against Yusup Saadulaev via a devastating knockout in the very first round.

Loman’s emphatic knockout victory materialized after dodging Saadulaev’s left straight while throwing his signature left hook counter that landed perfectly to the jaw.

Saadulaev then kissed the canvass and was wobbling his way out of the Loman mayhem which was immediately waived off by the referee.

In the upcoming ONE X, Loman will take on Shoko Sato of Japan as one of the undercard fights to be held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Also a known top prospect out of Japan, Sato is slowly making his name in the bantamweight division as one of the craftiest strikers in the sport.

If Loman gets the win, he will boost his chances of challenging the hard-striking John Lineker for the ONE bantamweight championship belt.

Loman is currently the no. 3 ranked bantamweight by ONE and is gunning for his second-straight victory under the stable of the famous Team Lakay led by Sangiao and the living legend Eduard Folayang.
