NOCPPO conducts bloodletting

THE Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office conducted a bloodletting activity at Camp Alfredo M Montelibano Sr. in Bacolod City on July 29, 2019.

The Bloodletting activity is part of the culminating activity of the 24th Police Community Relations Month.

140 participants including PNP personnel and stakeholders of different police stations in Negros Occidental joined the activity.

The bloodletting drive was in partnership with Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital Blood Bank headed by Dr Christopher Uy and Kanlaon Lodge No. 64, Free and Accepted Mason Bacolod City.

Col. Romeo Baleros, provincial police director, said the activity was very timely because of the increased demand for blood due to high incidence of dengue in Negros.

“This is one way of answering to our civic responsibilities as public servants, and we encourage more of these from our co-government employees,” he added.
