The most dominant team in the ILO Esports Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) League Season 1 is now out of the tournament.

Finishing the regular season with a stellar 18 wins and no losses, the mighty PERS-ILO ADAMANT team just got knocked out by EX UNITED in sweeping fashion, 3-0, during the second-round elimination of the lower bracket.

It was a disappointing finish for PERS who many expected to reach the finals after a spectacular regular season run, looking invincible as no team was able to rust their series record in 18 straight games.

Aside from the undefeated regular season campaign, three of PERS’ members were already named members of the mythical five: Jeymz, Stewart, and Walph.

It was one of the most dominant runs in local MLBB esports history as PERS also recorded an outstanding 51-point tally after 18 matches, only dropping three total games out of their 36 wins.

Before falling at the hands of EX UNITED, PERS received its first playoff loss when they squared off against IN SYNC AS 1NE AQUILA where they only managed to win one game, 3-1.

PERS was then relegated to the lower bracket category after absorbing the second-round upper bracket defeat where they fought EX UNITED, their former rivals who also beat them during the Iloilo City Charter Day Finals.

Before heading into the tournament, PERS was one of the teams to beat as the former SMART Communications PH MLBB tournament champions in Western Visayas and were also hailed as kings of the sport twice by Caedite Esports.
