The NLEX Road Warriors and head coach Yeng Guiao are currently working out a reunion with Beau Belga, his former enforcer during his stint with the Rain or Shine Elastopainters.

Trade talks began to surface according to Spin.ph when league sources reported that multiple offers were already sent just to acquire the veteran big man.

During the off-season trade, NLEX was trying to target Belga together with Vic Manuel but things did not end as expected as Manuel was dealt to the Phoenix Fuelmasters while trade talks centered on Belga were stalled.

NLEX first proposed a package that would send center Michael Miranda and a future draft pick for Belga.

After the proposal was rejected, NLEX offered another package to ship Will McAloney and Kris Porter for Belga but the Rain or Shine front office still hasn’t replied.

The McAloney, Porter for Belga trade offer is still pending in the PBA office and updates regarding the proposed trade will be released within this week.

It was always Guiao’s desire to boost NLEX’s frontcourt to complement their deep guard-rotation in Kiefer Ravena, Kevin Alas, and Jericho Cruz as the main gunners.

The loss of Poy Erram in a trade to the TNT Tropang Giga still hurt them and the Road Warriors coaching staff is still looking to augment their post presence as they prepare for a strong campaign this season.
