Nine fall in shabu busts

BACOLOD City – Nine persons were arrested after yielding P370,000 worth of suspected shabu in four buy-bust operations here and in Talisay City, Negros Occidental from November 4 to 6.

The most recent operation was conducted at Barangay 2 here yesterday which resulted in the arrest of Jamil Recaido, 22; and Ronell Dumali, 39, who both allegedly yielded 11 sachets of suspected shabu worth P180,000, a tooter, and the P500 marked money.

Both suspects are detained at Police Station 2.

Also arrested here at Barangay Banago last Tuesday were Bryan Barbas, 21, and Leo Romatico, 37, both residents of the said village. Police seized from them four sachets of suspected shabu worth P150,000, and the P500 marked money.

The two suspects are detained at Police Station 3.

Last Monday, personnel of Police Station 5 also conducted drug bust at Barangay Granada, and arrested Emmanuel Bayotas, 18, of Barangay Vista Alegre, for the alleged confiscation of four sachets of suspected shabu worth P5,000, and the P200 marked money.

In Talisay City, Sanny Boy Diaz, 41, of Barangay Zone 6; Leo Usa, 37, of Barangay Zone 10; Rey Maapni, 25, of Barangay Zone 16; and John Christoffer Pahilanga, 23, of Barangay Zone 12 were arrested at Barangay Zone 10 last Tuesday.

Police recovered from them 10 sachets of suspected shabu worth P35,000, the P100 marked money, and P600 cash.

Diaz is a high value target while three others were street level targets.
