The registration of new voters ended on Jan 30, 2023.

Ananoria told reporters here that they processed more than 57,000 applications in Negros Occidental for the BSKE slated on Oct 30.

“It’s more than the 50,000 we expected,” he added.

Ananoria further said that of the total accepted applicants, around 14,000 are 15 to 17 years old and will vote for a new set of SK officials

The Election Registration Board (ERB) will convene on February 20 to deliberate on the inclusion and exclusion of new voters before the submission of the final list to the Comelec central office.
