Negros mayors all set for MassKara sa Panaad

BACOLOD City – Don Salvador Benedicto Mayor Marxlen dela Cruz said Negros Occidental mayors who will take part in the MassKara sa Panaad have started to spruce up their respective pavilions.

MassKara sa Panaad on October 10- 16, 2022 is part of the festivities of the MassKara Festival that kicked off September 30, 2022.

Dela Cruz said his town’s booth will be the common showcase center for the first district that is comprised of the localities of San Carlos City, Toboso, Calatrava, Escalante City and Don Salvador Benedicto.

Provincial Administrator Atty. Rayfrando Diaz on Wednesday said that the Panaad Park and Stadium is all set for the first MassKara sa Panaad.

“We will give Bacolodnons and the Negrenses and our visitors a good show,” Diaz told reporters here

He said all 32 towns and cities in the province including Bacolod City will be participating and opening their respective pavilions during the festivities at the Panaad Park.

“We already have coordinated with our PNP and Army for the security at the whole area of the park,” Diaz said.

Diaz further said that foods and other delicacies offered by the LGUs at their respective pavilions will be at affordable prices.

“All the congressional districts will showcase festival dances of the towns and cities. There will be shows with some celebrities from Manila and the usual food parades to showcase our delicacies and culinary arts,” he added.

Participating LGUs were given a P100,000 subsidy each to spruce up their respective pavilions for the activity.
