Caelian said local DRRMOs responders were also told to prepare for deployment to different areas of convergence, particularly cemeteries.

The DRRMOs were also told to submit their preparedness measures, respective response, action plans, and untoward incidents they have monitored to the Negros Occidental Command Center which was activated on Tuesday, Oct 25 until Nov 2.

Caelian further said that despite the mask protocols being lifted in outdoor settings, and even in indoor settings following Malacañang’s announcement on Tuesday afternoon, it is still highly recommends that the public wear face masks, especially in crowded areas.

COVID-19 is still very much around, he added.
