With Perpetual Altas’ poor start in this year’s NCAA Men’s basketball season, coach Frankie Lim has taken a leave as head coach.

With Altas sporting a disappointing 2-5 record, the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA decided coach Lim’s leave.

Sammy Acaylar, the school’s athletic director, confirmed the news about the coach’s leave.

A key factor that led to Perpetual’s slow start is the absence of last year’s MVP, Prince Eze.

The team had disappointing losses in its recent games culminating in a 46-point loss against Lim’s former squad San Beda.

The team had high hopes, punching a ticket to the final four last year but bowed down to defending champions San Beda.

Junior Altas coach Myk Saguiguit will take over Lim’s duties and will try to spark Perpetual.
