AFTER another heartbreaker against Gen San Warriors over the weekend, the Iloilo United-Royals are back to the drawing board to prepare for their game on July 27, 2019 against the star-studded Bicol team.

The game against GenSan marks the first time that Iloilo has lost back-to-back games, the first coming from the hands of Cebu.

Iloilo lost by just a single point against Cebu, and lost by 5 against GenSan.

Apparently, Iloilo lacked the killer instinct that was present in their three wins.

Iloilo started the conference with an impressive 3-1 record, the best so far for a rookie team in the league.

Coach Eric Gonzales was somewhat happy because their assist total is rising again, but his key contributors went missing in terms of scoring.

Main gunner Richard Escoto only scored 4 baskets against GenSan and needs to bounce back against Bicol.

The Bicol Volcanoes are one of the hottest teams in the MPBL right now, as they look to win their fifth straight against Iloilo.

Former PBA scorer Ronjay Buenafe, and UAAP star Alex Nuyles headline the deep rotation of the Volcanoes.
