MORE powers temporary lodging for COVID-19 frontliners

MORE Electric and Power Corp. has completed the installation of power supply to the training ship of John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University (JBLFMU) which will be used as temporary lodging of medical frontliners against the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

The ship is anchored at Iloilo River Wharf in Muelle Loney, City Proper, Iloilo City.

The move is a partnership of the Iloilo City Government under Mayor Jerry Treñas, JBLFMU and MORE Power Iloilo.

The ship will be used by workers from the City Health Office, Public Safety and Traffic Management Office (PSTMO), City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (CDRRMO) and Iloilo City Emergency Response team (ICER) who implement the Enhanced Community Quarantine against COVID-19.

MORE Power installed the electric pole, three 75kVA (kilo-volt-ampere) transformers, primary line, service line, and meter.
