MORE Power fosters spirit of volunteerism in its continuing bloodletting activity

It was a meaningful start of the week for MORE Power employees as they celebrate the 4th anniversary of the company.

On February 14, 2019, Former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte signed the franchise of MORE Power so it will serve as the electric distribution utility of Iloilo City.

To mark the meaningful milestone, MORE Power gathered its linemen, security guards, contractors, and employees for a massive bloodletting activity.

The day ended with MORE Power providing 46 units of blood.

According to the employees of MORE, it is a good practice to have an annual bloodletting activity to promote the spirit of volunteerism and be a beacon of light to those who are in critical situations.

“Thankful and blessed kay naka donate kita sang dugo and as well as this blood will become a blessing to others who will be a recipient of my blood,” according to employee Dave Beltran.

According to the Philippine Red Cross Iloilo, there is not enough blood supply in the blood bank as of now. This bloodletting activity plays a huge contribution to those who are in need.

This is the 5th bloodletting activity of MORE Power since it started its operations in 2022.

Since then, it has donated an accumulated 194 units of blood to the Philippine Red Cross.
