ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A senior citizen who was reported missing after he slipped while crossing a river Wednesday afternoon, March 1, was found floating on the river at Sitio Anhawon, Barangay New Guia in Maayon, Capiz.
Senior Fire Officer 4 Junar Diestro, Municipal Fire Marshal of Maayon, said Loduvico Magallanes Pama was on his way to his son’s house when he slipped while crossing the river at Barangay Tuburan also in Maayon.
The strong water current swept the victim away in barangays Palaguian, Old Guia, and Jebaca until he was found in New Guia by disaster responders.
