BACOLOD City – A fisherman who reportedly went missing for three days was found dead at Barangay II, Manapla, Negros Occidental Saturday, August 10.

Police Captain Julius Caesar Colado, town police chief, identified the fatality as Fernando Claor, 49, of Barangay 6-A, Victorias City.

Colado said the victim went fishing last Wednesday morning and failed to go home.

The following day his boat was found by some fishermen, and he was reported missing.

After three days, he was found floating at sea.

They brought the victim to the shore and he was identified by Barangay 6-A captain Ana Mae Claro.

Colado said the victim probably went fishing despite the bad weather, and probably drowned due to rough sea.
