A NATIVE of Angeles City, Pampanga remains at large after allegedly stabbing his fellow worker at Ajuy, Iloilo.

Police’s hot pursuit operation failed to arrest Jerwin Liosa, who allegedly stabbed dead Ordisi Good.

The 39-year old Good hailed from Barangay Dulumog, Sogod, Cebu.

The victim worked as a pipe fitter while the suspect was a tank fitter at Mechatrends Contractors Corp, which works for Pryce Gas.

Police Lt. Roy Castro, Ajuy police chief, said the incident happened around 5 p.m. of July 22, 2019 at the workers’ barracks in Barangay Malayuan.

Prior to the incident, the suspect was seen drinking liquor. He acted uneasy while going in and out of their barracks.

Later, he was seen hurriedly leaving the barracks with his bag. He was also seen carrying a bloodstained knife.

When their co-workers checked the room, they saw Good bathed in his own blood. They rushed the victim to Sara District Hospital but he was declared dead on arrival.

He succumbed to three stab injuries on the neck, three wounds on the chest, and one on the side of his body.

Police later found the knife used near the barracks gate.

Castro said there was no commotion prior to the stabbing episode.

But their co-workers claimed that the two harbored ill feelings against each other.

The manhunt against Liosa continues.
