Actress, dancer, and singer Maja Salvador, who is considered a staple with the masses, further cemented her status as a Kapatid star as she signed anew with Cignal Entertainment, which signals more partnerships for her career as TV5’s prime star.

She signed the contract with Cignal and TV5 on Tuesday, April 5, and also held a press event afterwards.

Present during her contract signing and grand press event were officials from Cignal Entertainment, TV5, and her management agency, Crown Artist Management.

During the launch, Salvador said she was grateful to the two emerging entertainment entities for having her feel welcomed since she started with the network in the last few years.

She also said her secret to success in her career is love for the job and for the people who have supported her in the industry.

“It’s the love and passion not only for the job, but also the people surrounding me, who have supported me in every decision I’ve been making, and how they have trusted me. Once someone trusts me, I value it greatly and in all projects that have come to me, I would think of that as if it was my last project, so I need to give my all,” she said.

Cignal and TV5’s President and Chief Executive Officer Robert Galang expressed pride in keeping Salvador, citing her versatility in the entertainment industry.

“Maja Salvador’s versatility as an actress, host, judge, and overall performer has made her a perfect fit for all the projects she has done for and with the Network in the past year. We are honored and proud of all her achievements and we look forward to seeing her transform yet again as she reinvents herself in the upcoming projects that she will be doing with us soon,” Galang shared.

The production company and its sister network have lined up projects for her, including her first-ever sitcom which she will also co-produce under Crown, as well as new TV series with an “extremely challenging new role” and future film projects.

Prior to her signing this week, she had already top-billed the primetime series Niña Niño, which had bagged accolades for Best Drama Series and for Salvador as Best Actress of the Year at the 2021 Asian Academy Creative Awards.

The series has also found its way to global streaming giant Netflix and became one of its most-streamed after its release there, remaining on the Top 10 for several weeks.

Salvador can definitely keep exciting her fans with new projects, but for now, they can keep tuning in to Niña Niño which airs every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday on TV5, after Sing Galing, and before FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
