After a roller coaster ride with the Bacolod Master Sardines, Mac Tallo found a way to smoothen rough patches and made his return after his contract ended with the Manila Stars.

After Tallo started his career with Bacolod, the former-PBA guard bumped heads with head coach Vic Ycasiano that caused his departure from the squad.

Bacolod’s leader since day one, Tallo rose to the occasion and became one of the most lethal scorers in the league, averaging 14.8 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 5.2 assists per game in his stint with the Master Sardines.

However, his league average went to a drastic downfall under Manila as Tallo only managed to chip in 3.9 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game.

“Noong ni-release ako ng Manila after this season, sabi naman nila always welcome ako sa Bacolod. That’s why I decided na babalik ako sa home team ko sa Bacolod,” Tallo said.

The 26-year-old gunner then called coach Ycasiano to ask for his sincerest apologies to whatever issues they had before.

“I actually called Coach Vic. I apologized and masaya naman siya na okay na ‘yung naging misunderstanding namin dati,” Tallo added.
