Luka Doncic is just a man on a mission this NBA season.

After inking his name in the NBA history book as the first-ever player to record 60+ points, 20+ rebounds, and 10+ assists in a single game during Dallas Mavericks’ 126-121 comeback win against the New York Knicks, the Slovenian superstar posted another record following his 51-point outing at San Antonio last January 1, 2023.

During his impressive streak, Doncic became the first-ever player to drop 228 points, 56 rebounds, and 51 assists in just five NBA games.

Doncic did the unthinkable when he led the Mavericks to a win against the Houston Rockets, San Antonio Spurs, New York Knicks, and the Los Angeles Lakers.

His streak began when he tallied 50 points, 10 assists, and eight rebounds against Houston last December 24, 2022, and continued his majestic outing until January 1 when he broke the hearts of the Spurs’ fans following Dallas’ 126-125 win.

During that thrilling win against the Spurs, Doncic unleashed some tricks in his bag and intentionally missed his last free throw that ran out the clock, preventing San Antonio from holding the last offensive possession.

Doncic is coming off an impressive season from last year after leading Dallas to the playoffs, even knocking out the former Western Conference champs Phoenix Suns during the semifinals.

However, Doncic and the rest of the Mavericks failed to contain the blazing offense of the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference finals.

The 23-year-old superstar has elevated his game to a whole new level this ongoing season and helped Dallas lock the fourth spot in the stacked Western Conference with a 21-16 win-loss record.

Dallas placed behind the Denver Nuggets, Memphis Grizzlies, and New Orleans Pelicans. Currently, the Mavericks are the hottest team in the west with a six-game winning streak.
