Two Filipinos will share the ring in the upcoming ONE X special anniversary event. But not on the same corner.

Team Lakay’s very own Lito “Thunder Kid” Adiwang got another ONE Fighting Championship call up and will square off against kababayan Jeremy “The Jaguar” Miado in one of the undercard events on March 26, 2022.

Eager to bounce back from a disappointing loss against Jarred Brooks during his latest outing, Adiwang needs to defeat Miado to present his case as one of the contenders for the title in the strawweight division.

Despite the loss against Brooks, Adiwang is still one of the hottest fighters in ONE right now after winning four of his last six fights.

Meanwhile, Miado, an upcoming contender in the same division, will have to defeat Adiwang to go further in the top five while seeking to extend his fighting streak to three.

Miado is a known technical striker like Adiwang and loves to trade shots if given an open chance and has a high knockdown percentage as proven in his past fights.

One of the main examples is his latest fight against veteran Miao Li Tao from China when he hit him with two consecutive right hooks that setup a quick barrage of punches that led to the technical stoppage and the win.

Adiwang will be entering the fight with an impressive 13-4 win-loss record with seven knockouts while Miado has 10 wins and four losses with five wins coming via way of knockout.

The Adiwang-Miado all-Filipino showdown will serve as an undercard treat to the highly-anticipated crossover bout between former UFC flyweight champion Demetrius “Mighty Mouse” Johnson and One’s flyweight Muay Thai champion Rodtang “The Iron Man” Jitmuangnon.
