The long-awaited team-up of the Laure sisters in the collegiate level is finally here.

EJ and Eya Laure will be playing together as college teammates and will try to give the University of Santo Tomas a UAAP title after finishing short last season against the Ateneo Lady Eagles.

The last time that EJ and Eya played together on the same team was way back in 2013 when they were both in high school, leading UST to a championship title.

EJ won the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award while Eya garnered Best Setter of the league honors during their title campaign.

However, EJ would still need a couple of games to shake off the rust after missing two years due to a shoulder injury.

UST is hoping that the Laure reunion will serve as a spark for the team as they look forward to a promising season 82.

“Yung pagdating namin ni Ate EJ this season yun yung pinakahinihintay ng lahat. At siyempre for how many years sobrang hinintay ko yung ate ko na makasama ulit. Kasi pag kasama ko yung ate ko sa loob ng court, iba yung nagagawa niya sa akin, iba yung energy yung nabi-build niya sa akin kasi pag kadugo mo talaga isang tinginan niyo lang gets na agad,” Eya said.
