The Kaya FC-Iloilo women’s just punched their ticket to the semifinal round of the 2022 Philippine Football Federation (PFF) tournament.

Eager to end their year with a bang, the Ilongga booters’ efforts all paid off and will headline the PFF semifinal schedule on December 11, 2022 to be held at the PFF National Training Center.

Kaya FC will be squaring off against the young and talented team of the University of the Philippines (UP) in the first match of the schedule.

The Ilonggas will be looking to build their momentum from their win against UP a month ago, 1-0, to advance to the grand finals of the tourney.

Kaya FC is currently the hottest team in the league after building a six-game winning streak before formally taking a spot in the tournament’s Final Four.

Their last win was a classic offensive display against Azzurri, 5-1, after another Shelah Cadag show who scored a hat-trick to secure their final win in the regular season.

Aside from Cadag’s heroics, Kaya FC also received stellar performances from Nicole Ramores and Kyra Dimaandal who stunned Azzurri with separate goals.

Kaya FC’s only loss in the regular season came at the hands of the Far Eastern University (FEU), 0-2, in their very first game of the PFF tourney.

The FEU booters are on the other side of the semifinal bracket and will be facing Tuloy FC in the last match of the schedule.

Kaya FC will have the chance to get their revenge if they get out of their respective semifinal series with a win and meet in the grand finals of the 2022 Women’s PFF competition.
