The Kaya FC-Iloilo women’s booters clinched another dominant victory after handing Azzurri FC a demolition exhibition, 5-1, during the ongoing 2022 Philippine Football Federation (PFF) tournament last December 3, 2022.

After a merciless 15-0 annihilation of the Stallion Laguna FC a week ago, the Ilonggas picked up where they left off and put on a striking clinic against Azzurri FC.

Shelah Cadag once again drew first blood for Kaya FC after finding the back of the net with just 10 minutes in after the official game whistle.

12 minutes after the Cadag goal, Nicole Ramores doubled Kaya FC’s lead after cashing in a sweet finish off a beautiful cross pass on the left side of the pitch.

Azzurri FC showed defensive adjustments after tightening up their backline but the Ilongga booters’ aggressiveness in penetrating the goal led to another goal courtesy of Cadag.

With only a minute left before the first half was about to end, Cadag completed her early hat-trick after sending another goal for their fourth total conversion of the game in just 45 minutes.

Azzurri FC began the second half with a much-needed sense of urgency and started to pile up their goal attempts but Kaya FC’s last line of defense always came at the right place and the right time.

17 minutes after the second half kicked off, Azzurri FC had their first chance to score but Kaya FC was able to tap the ball out and prevented any trouble inside the penalty area.

The Ilonggas retaliated in the 74th minute after scoring another goal courtesy of Kyra Dimaandal that provided them a safer 5-0 cushion.

Azzurri FC was able to score a goal seven minutes before the match expiry but wasn’t enough to mount a miracle comeback rally.
