Kaya FC-Iloilo recently revealed one of their player signings in the busy Philippines Football League {PFL} off-season.

The five-foot-ten Ghanian striker Patrick Asare is off to boost Iloilo’s lineup and will be a valuable addition to the club after several international stints all around Southeast Asia.

“A talented striker born in Accra, Ghana, his career to this point has been an array of unexpected twists and turns. He displayed excellent pace and finishing during his stints in Malaysia and Myanmar, which will be useful for a team that scored more than twice in only two matches last year,” wrote Kaya’s statement.

Aside from his incredible stints within Southeast Asia, Asare was also a familiar face to Ceres-Negros FC (now United City FC) after scoring a goal during the 2018 AFC Champions League preliminary round.

Asare was with Shan United, one of Ceres’ rivals in the AFC Champions League that always gave them a hard time and made all of their contests close.

With Asare now with Kaya, the Ghanian striker vows to give his all and help improve the Iloilo-based squad with whatever he can offer on the pitch.

“I’m so excited to be back playing professionally, where I believe I belong. I’m so thankful to Kaya for the opportunity, and I can’t wait to show my ability and to work to reach the best form of my career,” said Asare.
