CARD Mutually Reinforcing Institutions (CARD MRI) through CARD Bank conducted the 6th Kaunlaran Caravan in Brgy. Dayao, Roxas City, Capiz on June 21, 2019.
The caravan aims to provide community development services and awareness to the growing clients of CARD MRI in the area.
Free medical, dental, and optical check up, livelihood training, financial literacy session for kids, and insurance awareness, among others were the services rendered at the caravan benefitting more than 700 CARD clients, their dependents, and the general public.
CARD MRI is a group of 21 development-oriented institutions that aim to eradicate poverty in the country. In Roxas City, Capiz, CARD MRI has four institutions that are operational since 2007 namely CARD Bank with more than 244,000 clients; CARD, Inc. with more than 45,000 clients and two microinsurance companies, the CARD MBA and CARD Pioneer Microinsurance Inc. (CPMI).
Another Kaunlaran Caravan is set to happen in Cauayan, Isabela in August 2019.
