Jonas Sultan is seeking another huge victory as he is set to return to the US for his scheduled fight this March 2022.

Coming off one of the biggest upsets in boxing last year when he knocked out the undefeated Carlos Caraballo from Puerto Rico, Sultan is aiming to fight the top dogs in the division and elevate to superstar status.

Sultan was the heavy underdog against Caraballo who was also the prodigy of boxing legend and former world champion Miguel Cotto.

The Filipino rising star scored three knockdowns in the fight and the last blow was dealt in the ninth round after perfectly timing a left hook that closed the curtains for Caraballo.

“He was good, but I felt I’m stronger. This is boxing. This is war. And I came to win tonight. Caraballo is a tough man, but I wanted this one,” said Sultan.

With the help of Manny Pacquiao (MP) Promotions through president Sean Gibbons and his manager Junnie Navarro, Sultan’s next fight might come this March.

Days after his win, Sultan immediately revealed that he is ready and open to fighting the current unified bantamweight champion from Japan, Naoya Inoue.

“There’s no perfect fighter. Everyone has his weakness. Yes, he is strong, but I will study him thoroughly and be in the best form possible when we clash,” added Sultan.

Sultan’s spectacular win over Caraballo improved his professional record to 18 wins, 11 knockouts, and five losses.
