It wasn’t the most convincing victory for Jon “Bones” Jones.

Probably one of the most controversial fights in UFC history, Jones was able to escape a tough and highly-efficient Dominick Reyes via a stunning unanimous decision.

Rained with boos and taunts after the decision, Jones stated that it wasn’t his most convincing victory but his determination during the last two rounds was the difference-maker that helped him pull off the win.

Reyes came in confident and loose to start the first round, hitting Jones numerous times with clean jabs and high kicks.

Reyes employed the same gameplan in the next rounds as he continued to bully Jones with his efficient striking, preventing Jones from going to his ground game.

However, in the middle to last rounds, Jones was able to vary his attack with his unorthodox punching stance and partnered it with a quick hip-hold for an easy takedown.

The last round was a slugfest but Jones started to hit crucial left hooks and managed to score a takedown.

“I do feel disrespected. I know I won that fight. I made Jon Jones look like just a man. I brought the fight to him,” Reyes said.
