When you are fielded with the best of the best basketball stars together on a single court, you know you have to bring your A-game and show the entire world you belong.

That’s exactly what Boston Celtics’ superstar Jayson Tatum did during the 2023 NBA All-Star game after breaking the record for the most points scored in the prestigious event when he went for 55 points.

Tatum broke Anthony Davis’ record last 2017 edition of the NBA All-Star when the current Los Angeles Lakers power forward dominated his way to a 52-point output.

It was a smooth display of offensive skills for the Boston main man as Tatum put up a clinic from the three-point line, draining 10 of his 18 total attempts.

Aside from his sweet-shooting from downtown, Tatum only missed a single shot from the perimeter and ended the game with an impressive 12/13 field goal shooting from the two-point area.

Tatum also had an all-around game after pulling down 10 rebounds alongside six assists, a block, and a steal.

His insane performance helped him win the 2023 NBA All-Star Kobe Bryant Most Valuable Player (MVP) award while also leading Team Giannis to a win over Team LeBron, 184-175.

Tatum’s performance will be a momentum-booster for the Celtics who are currently sitting in the no.1 spot of the Eastern Conference with a 41-17 win-loss record.

His co-star at Boston, Jaylen Brown, top-scored for team LeBron after dropping 35 points and 14 rebounds.

Donovan Mitchell was close to taking Tatum’s MVP trophy when he got off to a hot start but only finished the game with 40 points, 10 assists, and four rebounds.
