IPPO revamps 12 police stations

Twelve municipal police stations in Iloilo province have welcome their new chiefs of police, more than a week after local chief executives (LCEs) officially assumed post.

The relinquishment of office and turnover of property and equipment ceremony was done yesterday, July 11, 2022 at the Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO) headquarters at Camp Sumagaysay in Sta. Barbara, Iloilo.

The incoming officers-in-charge are:

* Police Major Samuel Vipinosa – Concepcion MPS

* Major Jose Rey Pabalan – Santa Barbara MPS

* Major Kenn Albert Lepsia – Dumangas MPS

* Lieutenant Alexander Lauron – Balasan MPS

* Major Jogen Suegay – Lambunao MPS

* Major Fernand Limbungan – Oton MPS

* Lieutenant General Enrique Robles – Ajuy MPS

* Major Roy Tayona – Pototan MPS

* Lieutenant Pedro Macababbad, Jr. – Dueñas MPS

* Lieutenant Chrysler John Ledesma – Alimodian MPS

* Major Sullen Domingo – San Miguel MPS

* Lieutenant Johnny Coro – San Rafael MPS

Senior Master Sergeant Francisco Lindero, Jr., IPPO spokesperson, said there were two major reasons for the revamp.

“First, it’s for their career advancement because some of them are due for promotion,” he said.

As expected, with new town mayors, they have preference for officers to lead the town police force.

Colonel Adrian Acollador, Iloilo police chief, led the turnover of command ceremony.

Acollador reminded the new chiefs of police to “win your personnel – their trust and support – for better performance and police service.”

Also, “you should win the local officials being our strong partners in our accomplishing our mission,” he said.

And equally important, they must also win the community “being the key to peace, order and progress.”
