IPPO conducts bloodletting activity

IN LINE with the 24th Police Community Relations Month Celebration, the Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO) organized a bloodletting activity held at its Multi-Purpose Hall in Sta. Barbara, Iloilo on July 30, 2019.

The activity was in partnership with the Philippine National Red Cross and spearheaded by the Provincial Community Affairs and Development Section (PCADS).

The participants included PNP personnel, force multipliers and other stakeholders, of which 131 were successful blood donors.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Romar Peregil, PCADS chief, welcomed all participants and thanked them for their willingness to donate blood. He emphasized that blood donation can save lives and that there is no substitute for blood; it only comes from generous donors.

Meanwhile, Police Lieutenant Colonel Ruby Gumban, IPPO deputy provincial director for administration, also thanked the Red Cross, sponsors, and blood donors.
