The ILOPRISAA secondary men’s basketball squad swept their games in the elimination up to the finals to dominate the 2019 Iloilo Schools Sports Council Meet.
Trouncing the representatives from the 3rd congressional district, 101-73, the boys in blue and red were too good for them as they didn’t find any answer against the powerhouse ILOPRISAA team.
Hailing from the Hua Siong College of Iloilo, the well-composed squad orchestrated by coach Vincent Conlu maintained a perfect record since the 2019 ILOPRISAA.
Torching Centerphil Montessori from Janiuay outside and inside, the champs showed their versatility as they put up an efficient showing in their offensive outing.
The length and size advantage of ILOPRISAA bothered 3rd district a lot, as they swatted away tons of shots attempted by the 3rd in the shaded area.
Cedrick Manzano of ILOPRISAA pounded his way underneath at will as he fooled the opposing bigs a couple of times with his series of fakes finished by a wonderful reverse.
ILOPRISAA will represent the Province of Iloilo in the upcoming 2020 Regional Sports Meet.
