Ilonggos dominate in day 2 of SMART/MVP Online Poomsae tourney

14 Ilonggo jins clinched medals on the second day of the 2020 SMART/MVP Sports Foundation National Online Poomsae Taekwondo Championship.

Jins from two of the most prominent taekwondo gyms in Iloilo City, the A. Diasnes Gym and the Mark V. Pinggol (MVP) gym, dominated and impressed the viewers online with their performances to edge the other heavyweight jins from all over the Philippines.

Under the Diasnes gym, mentored and supervised by coach Flora Navales, Mariel Angela Siscar nabbed the gold medal in the brown female 10-11 category while Crizzel Jhanin Ahmed placed silver in the same category.

For the brown male cadet, Lansil Andrew Brotarlo starred and got the gold medal while his gym-mate, Jan Andrew Gancero, settled for silver.

Lyn Owem Santacera won the gold medal in the brown female cadet while Artha Camille Tanagon clinched silver.

Jesseray Lucas Frantilla prevailed and got gold in the brown male junior, Kian Ezekiel Castigador dominated and got gold in the Blue Male 8 and below, Kristi Marie Siscar got silver in the brown male 9 and below, and Leone Tady Cross nabbed silver in the yellow/blue male junior/senior.

Under the MVP gym, Justin Adrian Apura had the gold medal in the brown male 10-11, Joshua Caingitan Cachero managed to clinch a bronze medal in the black male senior 1 category, Phil Caleb Regalado got silver in the blue male 9-11, and Geon Ivan Dulaca got bronze in the brown male cadet.
