Iloilo PNP is Balangay Award finalist

The Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO) is one of the finalists of the 2nd BGen Rafael T Crame Balangay Awards.

Colonel Paul Kenneth Lucas, IPPO officer-in-charge, received the consolation prize of P200,000 and a Plaque of Appreciation during the awarding at Camp Crame on Feb 17.

The Balangay Awards is an annual search of the PNP recognizing police units nationwide for their campaigns against illegal drugs, corruption, terrorism, and all forms of criminality.

The Iloilo PNP made it to the finals for bringing itself closer to the community it serves and protects.

IPPO is the only unit of PRO6 that made it to the final list.

In the previous years, Iloilo PNP consistently emerged as the best provincial police office in the field of police community relations. (IPPO)
