Iloilo MVP taekwondo gym rules Roxas City tournament

The Iloilo Mark V. Pinggol (MVP) taekwondo gym reigned supreme during the 1st Mayor Ronnie Dadivas Sinadya tournament held in SM City Roxas, Capiz, last December 3, 2022.

After dominating another national competition several weeks ago, the Iloilo MVP jins are back in action and displayed one of their best outings of the year.

The Pinggol-led taekwondo gym was hailed as the overall champion in both the poomsae and the kyorugi categories after bringing home a total of 45 golds, 18 silvers, and six bronze medals.

Aside from an impressive medal tally, the widely-renowned taekwondo gym also bagged the best coach award in poomsae and kyorugi: Sir Mark Pinggol and sir Janjan Gersanib, respectively.

A total of 26 gold medalists were crowned as champions in the kyorugi event while 20 outstanding jins got first place in the poomsae event.

Headlining the gold medalists in both categories: Sophia Grace Go, Eujean Ivanka Castete, Reyven Ken Decolongon, Prince Ivan Dugayo, Sophia Marie Bautista, Lindsy Lorraine Degayo, Jin Saimon Saquilon, and Elisha Miela Paradero.

Meanwhile, the outstanding silver medalists are Amber Grace Abellar, Francheska Isobelle Duton, Nicah Jane Robles, Adenny Lourl Rivera, Hertzela Avryl Sinoy, Alexis Jane Robles, Nieka Thalia Guevara, and Van Arabay.

Tiffany Greme Derayunan, Brent Andrei Palabrica, Carl Tyrone Donguila, Cleo Alexandria Evangelista, and Maria Sabina Mesa were awarded the MVP gym with the bronze medals.

Backstopping Pinggol and Gersanib in the coaching side of the MVP gym are Sir Diego Garcia, Sir Melcris Villarin, and Maam Jilyn Yap.
