No better way to end your 2020 perfectly after impressing in one of the most prized international taekwondo tournaments.

Fresh off their convincing outing during the India Taekwondo League Individual Open International Championships, the jins from the Iloilo City Taekwondo and Fitness Center by Jojo Castro collected seven gold medals in the recently concluded Venezuela Open World Taekwondo Family tournament.

While other gyms experience difficulties in clinching a top spot in international tourneys, it seemed like the Iloilo JOCAS gym is making it a routine to make waves outside the Philippines while carrying the banner of the City of Love.

After India, US Florida, and Hong Kong, it was Venezuela where the Castro mentored jins just turned heads and outlasted the top jins from all over the world.

Paul Dominic Callado, Tisha Seth Escrupulo, Eunice Angela Castante, Anje Grace Espanillo, Franchezka Therese Guihama, Krizzia Jean Tunguia, and Clark Zed Abello all emerged victorious in their respective categories and notched gold medals.

The same jins who participated in the Venezuela tournament are the same set in the championship lineup of Iloilo JOCAS gym during their US and Hong Kong stints.

Currently, one of the most prominent gyms in Iloilo City will be preparing for another international taekwondo tournament organized in Oregon, USA.
