Gov, Buglas, Dualtech sign MOA on tech-voc scholarship

Negros Occidental Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson, Buglas Foundation, Inc., and Dualtech Training Center Foundation, Inc. signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to cater for more scholars under the Dualtech Scholarship Program of the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental.

The signing was held at the Provincial Capitol with Dualtech Training Center Executive Director Jerry Webb Muhi, Negros Occidental Scholarship Program (NOSP) Head Karen Dinsay, Dualtech Registrar Rodolfo Sta. Ana III, Scholarship Head of Dualtech Rommel Tejada, Buglas President Ramon Felix Gonzalez, and Buglas Project Director Roger Abe Manuel Sarmiento.

Dualtech Scholarship is a continuing scholarship program of the NOSP, that caters to out-of-school youth from the different cities and municipalities of the province.

Buglas Foundation, Inc., is the Bacolod-based partner organization of Dualtech.

As stated in the MOA, scholars of the said technical-vocational scholarship, will be studying a two-year Electromechanics Technology course at Dualtech Training Center Foundation, Inc. in Laguna, sponsored by the provincial government.

The scholarship program is one of the scholarship categories under the NOSP.

Also present at the MOA signing were Joaquin Lacson Heras and Phillip Carpina of Buglas Fdn., and Joan Sayson of DepEd Sipalay.
