Four police majors assigned to Police Regional Office (PRO)-6 based in Iloilo City were promoted to lieutenant colonel effective Aug 10, 2022, per order from the PNP national headquarters.
Brigadier General Leo M. Francisco, PRO-6 regional director, led the oath-taking and donning of ranks on the newly promoted officers.
The occasion was held at Maringal Lounge on Aug 19, 2022 at Camp Gen. Martin Teofilo B Delgado, Iloilo City.
These newly promoted Police Lieutenant Colonels are Benjo Clarite from Antique Police Provincial Office (PPO); Raymond Celoso from Iloilo PPO; and Jigger Gimeno and James Latayon Jr of Negros Occident PPO.
Francisco congratulated the newly promoted officers and their respective families.
“Sa mga pamilya lalong-lalo na sa asawa nang apat na bagong promote, para po sa inyo ang promotion ito. Ito ay tagumpay po ninyo kaysa sa amin, kayo po ay tumatayong ama at ina nang aming mga anak dahil kong minsan bihira po kaming umuwi dahil nga po sa tawag nang tunkulin. Maraming salamat sa pag unawa at pagmamahal,” he said.
Present during the activity are the members of PRO-6 Command Group and select officers.
