Five fall in buy-bust, P513,000 in ‘shabu’ seized

BACOLOD City – Five persons were arrested and P513,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized in separate buy-bust operations here and in the cities of Silay and Bago in Negros Occidental on February 3.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) – Negros Occidental arrested Joaquin Adela, and Ronel Tañares at Barangay Taculing here, for the alleged confiscation of 60 grams of suspected shabu worth P408,000.

Also arrested at Barangay 19 here was Darwin Tabotabo, 36, of Barangay 20, after he allegedly yielded five sachets of suspected shabu worth P10,000, the P300 marked money, and tooter. He is detained at Police Station 6.

In Silay City, John Villa, 42, of Barangay Mambulac was arrested at the said village after police confiscated from him 11 sachets of suspected shabu worth P90,000, the 500 marked money, P3,000 boodle money, and P1,172 cash.

In Bago City, Ryan Llanes, 35, of Barangay Abuanan was arrested in the said barangay, for the alleged recovery of four sachets of suspected shabu worth P5,000, the P200 marked money, and P85 cash.
