A farmer was arrested after he allegedly sexually molested his teenage niece.
Angel Buenaflor, 40, a resident of Barangay Buluangan I, Valderrama, Antique, was nabbed 6:30 a.m. of Sept 28, 2022 at Barangay Flores, Culasi town.
Members of Valderrama Municipal Police Station served to Buenaflor an arrest warrant for three counts of qualified rape in Criminal Case Numbers RT-BGS-2022-05-2073-V, RT-BGS-2022-05-2074-V and RT-BGS-2022-05-2075-V.
Judge Mario de Guzman Andres of the Regional Trial Court Branch 64 in Bugasong, Antique issued the arrest warrant on May 13, 2022.
No bail was recommended for Buenaflor’s temporary liberty.
Staff Sergeant Michael Guansing, Valderrama police investigator, said the suspect was accused by his 15-year-old niece of sexually molesting her last year.
Buenaflor is now detained.
