The F2 Logistics Cargo Movers tallied their second win in a row on Oct 25, 2022 after sweeping the PLDT High-Speed Hitters, 25-19, 25-22, 25-20, in the ongoing 2022 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Reinforced Conference.

After opening the import-laced conference with a disappointing 0-2 start, the former Philippine Super Liga queens finally picked up their momentum and recorded its second-straight victory.

Veteran mainstay Kim Kianna Dy led the locals in scoring and finished the game with 12 big points in the absence of superstar Kalei Mau who is still nursing an ankle injury she suffered last week.

Super import Lindsay Stalzer also showed out and displayed her usual offensive statistics after contributing 19 points built from 15 successful attacks, two blocks, and two service aces.

Aside from Stalzer’s stellar offensive output, her floor defense also provided huge help to F2 after notching 10 excellent digs.

There was nothing PLDT could do soon as the Cargo Movers found their offensive rhythm midway in the first set after Aby Maraño’s signature running spikes in the right corner that electrified the F2 crowd in attendance.

After Maraño injected some energy for the Cargo Movers, the whole squad just synchronized both offensively and with their middle blocking.

Newly-acquired middle blocker and former UAAP champion with the NU Lady Bulldogs Ivy Lacsina set the tone at the start of the second set after scoring two quick clean blocks that paved the way for their surging offense to operate against the High-Speed Hitters.

Superstar setter Kim Fajardo was instrumental to the Cargo Movers’ balanced attack after dishing out 18 excellent sets.

“Of course after the two losses medyo mabigat talaga and then we cannot stop working naman. Kailangan tuloy-tuloy whatever happens and then we push for that win every game we should win, ‘yan naman ang goal ng team,” said F2 Logistics head coach Benson Bocboc.

The Cargo Movers will have the chance to extend their winning streak when they square off against the Petro Gazz Angels on Saturday.
