Ex-Imus combo guard RK Morales is currently serving under the Philippine Air Force amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Morales, who played for the Imus-Luxxe during the 2019-2020 Chooks-to-Go MPBL Lakan Season, is assigned in the Villamor Airbase doing administrative helper duties.

A part of the Air Force since 2013, Morales has been away from his family since the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) was implemented last March 16.

“Malaking bagay talaga ang social media sa panahon ngayon. Doon ko sila nakakausap, lagi kaming nakakapag-video call kaya parang lagi ko na rin silang kasama,” Morales said.

The 5’11’’ versatile guard who pledged his talents to Imus will be transferring to Bacolod Master-Sardines and is excited to return to the hardwood for the next season after fulfilling his duties to the country.

“Masaya at nakaka-proud kasi nakakapaglingkod ako sa bansa at sa taong bayan lalo na ngayong higit na nangangailangan dahil sa COVID-19,” he added.
