Young Gilas Pilipinas cadet Dwight Ramos continues to impress in the Japan B. League after steering the Toyama Grouses to a much-needed win against Matt Aquino and the Shinshu Brave Warriors, 92-75.

The combo guard once again contributed in every department as Ramos finished the blowout win with eight points, six rebounds, three assists, and two blocks.

Ramos and the Grouses overcame Aquino’s tournament high performance as he dropped 10 points, three boards, and one steal.

After a slow start in the B. League, Ramos is finally earning his stride and is slowly making his name as one of the best Asian imports in Japan.

Ramos also turned heads in his recent game after outdueling his Gilas senior Kiefer Ravena and the Shiga Lakestars.

Toyama stole the win from the Lakestars where Ramos shined with 14 points, 10 assists, six rebounds, and two steals.

Teammate Julian Mavunga finished the game with a terrific triple-double performance of 21 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists.

Ramos and the rolling Grouses will look to extend their winning streak to four when they square off against Bobby Ray Parks Jr. and the Nagoya Diamond Dolphins on Saturday, December 18.
